Life Purpose and Spiritual Leadership

Finding Why You Are Here

At Terra Lux, life purpose is understood simply ~ it is the reason a person is here, and what their life is for. As Waith has described it, purpose is not one job, one title, or a hidden destiny waiting to be uncovered. It is closer to the lessons the Soul came here to learn, and the Service that grows naturally out of having lived them.

What We Mean by Life Purpose

Purpose is inclusive, not singular. A life can hold several purposes at once, and their shape can change across the seasons of that life ~ as new lessons come forward and old ones are integrated.

Not knowing your purpose yet is not treated as a failure at Terra Lux. It is understood as an invitation to keep listening ~ to Self, to spirit, and to the life already being lived, which is often already pointing the way.

How Purpose, Calling, Service, and Leadership Fit Together

These following four are not separate paths but different facets of one movement ~ a lesson lived, and what that lived lesson makes possible:

Purpose: What your life keeps trying to teach you ~ the recurring lessons the Soul chose, before this life, to work through here.

Calling: The pull toward a particular way of Being of Service ~ the shape purpose takes as it begins to move outward toward others.

Service: What flows outward once a lesson has been lived ~ the natural, unforced expression of a purpose that has found its form.

Spiritual Leadership: The inner work that makes any of the above steady ~ the ongoing relationship a person builds with their own thoughts, reactivity, and motives, which allows purpose, calling, and service to hold together over time.

Held together this way, Purpose is not a destination to be reached once and then finished. It is a living thread ~ learned, expressed as Calling, offered as Service, and steadied through the inner work of Spiritual Leadership.
