THE CIRCLE OF LIGHT MEDITATION PRACTICE
A Practice of Gathering and Directing Light, Drawn from Terra Lux
Where It Comes From
The Circle of Light is a practice taught within Terra Lux, a nonprofit spiritual community whose teachings are channeled by Mushiba from an entity named Waith, an Archangel who has spoken through her since 1987. It grows directly out of a broader practice in these teachings known as Send Light ~ the act of unconditionally directing goodwill and energy toward a person, place, or situation. The Circle of Light gives that practice a concrete shape: rather than simply Sending light outward, a person actively gathers it first, with the help of their Angelic Protector and their own Spirit Guides, before directing it anywhere at all.
How It Works
At its core, the Circle of Light is a way of combining your own energy with that of your Angelic Protectors and Spirit Guides, visualized together as a swirling, glowing sphere held between your hands. Once that shared light exists, it can be directed toward almost anything that could use it: a struggling relationship, a difficult decision, a place, a loved one, even someone who has passed on.
A key distinction in this teaching is that sending light is not the same as trying to fix or rescue someone. It is described as unconditional and nonjudgmental — offered to support a soul's own growth and lesson-learning, not to erase the struggle itself or to impose an outcome. This is part of why the practice is considered appropriate even when someone hasn't directly asked for help: at the level of the soul, offering light is seen as always welcome.
How to Take Part
Step 1: Call in Support: Silently or aloud, invite your Angelic Protector and Spirit Guides to join you, in whatever lighthearted way feels natural ~ a casual greeting is enough. Ask to be surrounded by their protection as you begin.
Step 2: Form the Space: Raise your hands in front of your chest as though holding a large ball between them. This open space is where the Circle of Light will take shape.
Step 3: Gather the Light: With eyes open or closed, ask your guides to add their energy to the space between your hands, along with your own. Picture the combined energy swirling together ~ some people see white light, others see color, translucence, or something else entirely. There is no fixed image to aim for; simply notice whatever arises, rather than forcing a particular picture.
Step 4: Direct the Light: Once the light feels present, place whoever or whatever needs it into that space and surround it with the light. This might be a person, an animal, a place, an object, a relationship, an unresolved decision, or yourself. You can also use the practice to send light to someone who has died, similar to a prayer for their journey.
"It is unconditional, it is nonjudgmental ... It is sending the Light to help the Soul grow and learn its lessons." Waith, on sending Light, channeled through Mushiba
A Few Notes
There is no single correct image or sensation to aim for ~ comfort with the practice tends to build with repetition, not with getting it right the first time.
The practice can be used for a person, an animal, an object, a place, a relationship, an unresolved issue, or someone who has passed on.
It is considered appropriate to send light even to someone who hasn't asked for help, since it isn't meant to override their path ~ only to support it.
Like other practices in this tradition, it can be done in a moment of stillness or worked into an existing daily routine.
