Hi everyone ~ I’d first like to mention that I work as a driver/patient care monitor for a mobile opiate treatment program in rural St. Johnsbury, Vt. We are just one of many means for a person to begin their road to recovery.

… moving on down the Path, I stumble over politically correct Christmas (holiday) terminology ~ ouch, that pebble hurt! Really, does anyone believe in their heart of Soul that Amelius or any other HEB (highly evolved being) has any real preference in the matter? Come Christmas, come Kwanza, come Hanukkah, come whatever!! Happy Holidays?? Why not…have a very happy Christmas holiday, a splendid Kwanza, a holy Hanukkah, enjoy and honor ALL, not NONE.

As I hit the ‘I’ key, wondering what would be the next key to strike, and the nightly news mentioned the daily American body count of another six servicemen and women (funny how no one counts Iraqis), I flashed back to that grand old Marvin Gaye song, “What’s Going On?” and the famous line, Don’t Punish Me With Your Brutality. . . . and I flashed back to the Vietnam War itself and the ever growing parallels with the Mid East war . . . .
