The following are excerpts from the unpublished Waith Transcript of March 3, 1994. The words in purple are directly from Waith ~
Question: Would you explain, Talking in Tongues?
The phenomena that is referred to as, speaking in tongues, is an energy exchange that overtakes, if you will, the vibrational field of a particular entity.
It is a very interesting in that an understanding of conceptual ideas is transmitted via an energy, and that it is not actually language that is being projected ~ rather, a different type of physical manifestation of energy flow. And it goes into what you would call, the host and the receiver of the information, so that the entity who is receiving the information from the host, or the entity who is projecting, is able to understand. Not all would be able to understand.
It is meant for very specific energies and exchanges of energy and for very particular audiences, just as any information that is disseminated is meant for particular audiences. So there could be, for example, two of you in the same place with an entity who is considered the host, giving the information through this energy source, and one person would understand and the other person would not. And it is simply one of those situations that if you are meant to hear something, you will, and if you are not, it simply will not be heard. That is, in its simplicity, what this particular phenomena is about.
Question: Would you explain wings on an Angel? Why do we see that?
The wings of The Angelic representation are meant for earth plane physical frames of reference. They are the physical manifestation of Energy Centers that come from entities who are in The Angelic Realm. It is meant on the earth plane, currently, to give the impression of both concreteness and stability, and abstractness and fluidity. The wings themselves are very concrete and provide a certain stability in their appearance, for there is strength in them. At the same time, there is the sense of wings having an abstractness, perhaps an ethereal perception to them, and they show a fluidity that, in combination ~ these two particular perceptions of one physical manifestation ~ present then the illusion of strength and protection and guidance.
And there was also the need, for this current illusion, that the earth plane perceive The Angelics as flying out of the heavens ~ and, thus it was, that particular image was presented many, many, many thousands of earth plane years ago, at the beginning of the current illusion.
It was reinforced at the time of Jesus when it was determined that there would be very significant representation of Angelics at that time that would carry itself through until the end of the illusion, which is where you currently find yourselves.
Angelics can take any form, and generally we do. It is very rare that we will come in and strut around with our wings, and very rarely do we fly in the sky and come out of the clouds. We usually leave our harps behind along with our white robes. And, you know, it is all documented how we dress and what we look like because it is important for the frame of reference. 
In the early time of the current illusion, there were also representations of Beings with wings that have been the representation of a protective warrior force. And this is, indeed, what we are ~ Protectors, and Warriors, as you can best understand it. Thus, that is primarily why there was that type of image that was projected.
Question: What about cherubs?
Oh-h-h, cherubs. Cherubs are baby angels. I was a cherub once. I am on record about my days as a cherub. I was an errant cherub. Hard to believe, I know ~ nonetheless, we had our moments.
Cherubs are generally energies who come into The Angelic Kingdom right out of The Universal Consciousness. All entities have the opportunity to be in The Angelic Kingdom. It is a kingdom that is available for all energies, just as all the others kingdoms are available for entry in and experiences in.
There are two ways in which The Angelics come about. One way is simply being ready to move into The Angelic Kingdom, for the vibrations have been prepared sufficiently enough through experiences in other kingdoms to have entry into The Angelics. Whenthere has been experience in other kingdoms, then there is no need to go into the cherub form.
If an entity, however, has not experienced other kingdoms and comes into The Angelics solely for service, then it is required to enter into The Angelic Kingdom as a cherub and to work through certain types of training, for Angelics who come through the cherub route have different responsibilities than those who come in from the other direction ~ not better or worse, simply different.
Question: You mentioned The Menu items that we come in with. Do we ever have the opportunity to change The Menu after being here?
Oh, yes, indeed. It would be no fun if there was not the ability to change.
Entities can change in any number of ways. They can add or they can delete. And, it is a constant availability and not a situation where you are given a particular moment when you can make changes ~ it is entirely up to the path that you want to journey down.
When Menu changes are asked for within Self, it comes to The Universal Consciousness for it is not simply an on the spot decision made without looking at the effects of the whole. Of course, nothing that any energy does is without the implications to the whole being considered.
Thus, The Angelic Protector and the Spirit Guides are all part of the way that this is discussed. And it can happen very quickly, and it usually does, as you would measure it on the earth plane, in a very short period of time.
Also, if you decide to eliminate a particular menu item, it does not mean that at some future time you could go back and bring it back into your path. So the flexibility is limitless.
Question: So The Menu items themselves are not just tools and they might also be lessons or experiences that we wanted ~ we can come in with some planned experience and eliminate them later on or add to them?
Oh, yes, indeed.

I wonder about the training of a cherub ~ since they come directly out of The Universal Consciousness into The Angelic Kingdom, does their training consist of experiencing life in different kingdoms to round out their education?
