Reflections from Mushiba ~ What If We Stray From Our Path?
Some time ago, I was on a familar highway heading toward my destination, when traffic began backing up ~ there had been an accident and it seemed that the road would not be cleared for quite some time. I took the next exit that I could and found myself on an unfamilar road. After a bit of reorienting, I found a sign that pointed me in a direction that I knew would eventually bring me to my original destination ~ it would just take longer than I had planned.
This incident is an concrete example of a concept that Waith addressed during his Public Session of December 3, 1991 ~
Question: You have said that before we come into a new life, we plan our growth with our Spirit Guides. If something were to happen where we get caught up in the illusion and go away from our plan, would our Spirit Guide do something to get us back on our path or would our Soul, in cooperation with our Angelic, do this?
The answer to that can be, “yes, yes, no, no, maybe, maybe” ~ there is no clear cut response, for it will depend on many factors. When an energy begins to lose sight of its path on the earth plane, that in itself may be necessary as a lesson to be learned. Your Angelic would not interfere nor would your Spirit Guides ~ or even attempt to give guidance ~ for it may be necessary and may, indeed, have been discussed before entry that there was a high probability that within the illusion, there would be a straying from the path.
It is easy to become caught up in the illusion, and if this happens, it happens ~ it does not, in the ultimate end, cause damage. The ultimate end is that eventually you return to The One. It may take you an untold amount of time versus another, to do so ~ however, that does not matter, for once you are back in The One, you are going to jump right back out again anyway.
Our response is not to place this in a frivolous manner ~ rather, it is situational and not for an energy to become obsessed with in following the path. You may feel that you are on your path and, yet, you are not and, perhaps, by your perception of not following your path and going into another direction, you are, in fact, then going in your real direction.
That is why, dear loved ones, it is so critical to connect with your Higher Self and to receive your answers from Self. We serve only as facilitators.
When I reflect on the new journey I had as a result of that detour, I smile. I had a wonderful adventure that gave me a new sense of freedom because while I did stray from my path, I learned a new way to travel to a regular destination of mine. I had an unexpected ~ and, unplanned ~ experience, and saw beautiful homes, flowers, trees, fields, new people and, simply, a different flow of beautiful energy.

Sometimes we hold ourselves so rigidly to what we think is “the path” and don’t allow for a freer flowing of experiences to occur. Some of us are more comfortable with surprises and unexpected events than others ~ and can learn from those who have no problem with surprises!
