Entertaining Angels Unawares ~ Do Unto Others . . .
The most important thing I remember from my childhood was my mother’s wise counsel to always “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” She carefully explained to me what this meant, and growing up, her words were always in the back of my mind. I am not perfect by any stretch, but I’ve always tried to do my best in this respect.
Waith’s excerpt here brings this memory clearly back to me, and gives me pause, for I had not thought of it in a long time. As I sit here at my computer, writing, I am cast into a focusing of my past couple of weeks, where I have plainly stumbled and fallen back on my Spectrum of Light a few times. I am constantly amazed at this process of focusing, for lights come on, and we must think about a particular situation and come to some terms with it ~ for everything we do, say, or think, definitely affects Self ~ Others ~ and the Whole.

Waith: All entities are part of the One ~ there is no separateness. What you do to yourself affects all other entities. What you do to other entities affects you. As the time of The New Illusion approaches, there will be, what appears to be, a greater separateness between those who would view themselves as on their spiritual path and those who are viewed as not being on a spiritual path.
You, as an energy form, are a part of every other energy form ~ you are no better and no worse than any other energy. And, most especially, you must keep in mind that the beauty you see in Self as you grow in your own awarenesses, is also the beauty that exists in all Others. You have all separated from The Universal Consciousness and are all working together to return ~ it is all a joint effort. If you, as a particular entity, have progressed along your path in a more rapid manner than another entity, it does not make you any better ~ it simply gives you more responsibility to assist those who would need assistance on their path and to help show the way.

This actually makes me think of what I hear all the time; that the Dark and the Light are both necessary. Although I had accepted this I never quite understood why that had to be the case. It made me feel bad everytime I ran into a person who was clearly on the ‘dark’ spectrum of things and I wanted desperately to change them and bring them into the light because I felt they were ‘wrong’.
However, Waith’s comment of “You have all separated from The Universal Consciousness and are all working together to return ~ it is all a joint effort.” helped to drive home the idea that we need the dark, for without the dark what is there to challenge us and bring US into further light? It truly is a JOINT effort, and that ‘dark’ person is either meant to be dark to help others increase their own light, or they aren’t! I just need to be able to accept that.

I do acknowledge that judging darkness is part of the experience to help Self and others make way to the light. It really is important for Self to understand the ways of this balance. In addition, judging others’ spectrum of light can bring Self to darkness, as well as awareness. And how Self handles judgment is an adjustment within his/her own spectrum. Every aspect that takes place during this process is what I consider awareness.
From separateness, I recognize that I’m involved in trying to harmoniously unify with the rest of you. Simple task but a tough mission to bring back home. It really is strange but I probably am in need of you all. And for that, I respect you.

Without the dark, the light is not motivated to grow and without the light, the dark would have nothing to do, would be stalled and would not move toward the light!! In either case, nothing would happen and there would be no hope of returning to The One.
