Reflections from Mushiba

Some days I feel as if I am being bombarded by stimuli trying to gain my attention. I used to be concerned that I might not be responding to the right stimuli and, therefore, not learning my lessons. However, I now believe that the bombardment itself is an ongoing lesson ~ which stimuli will I respond to for lesson learning, knowing, at the same time, that whatever stimuli I do select will be part of my lesson learning. :-)

O’Crappy Day!

One day last week I was feeling very low and decided it was a real crappy day all around (Since Buema is writing this for me, she will clean up how I actually said it!). Without going into all the details, I’ll just tell you my day’s finale.

OPA ~ Financial Wizard

Another of the major components in life is dealing with money. Few of us can ignore the need to manage it and although it generally doesn’t take a lot of weekly time to do so, not doing so can cause a lot of headaches later on.

So what am I expecting to accomplish here? First, I want to maintain the family’s finances in the most efficient way possible and secondly I want to increase my financial abundance through pursuing wise investments. With my outcomes defined I came up with the humorous (and hopefully accurate) title of Financial Wizard. I chose as my role model Peter Lynch with his successful at Fidelity. I pulled a couple of quotes from him as well: “Stop listening to professionals. Invest in companies, not to stock market.” And I use that advice in my pursuit of investments.
