Time For Rebirth ~ For Change
This is the time of the year for New Year resolutions!!!! Time for Rebirth, for Change, for hopeful expectations for what the New Year will bring!!!
We keep making New Year resolutions year after year to just find ourselves, in the middle of the year, with the same kind of problems, same kind of issues with, maybe, just different scenarios.
Sometimes we need to change the wording at the beginning of a resolution so we can change the pattern, the core belief that has been creating the conditions in our life. (Solara has been writing to us about this). A good way to break the patterns is to begin our resolutions with, “Up till now I have been…..but this year I commit to……..” It gives the opportunity for the brain to work in new possibilities rather than having our brain say, “Here we go again.”
A very powerful statement I have been using for my personal, major changes is:
“I am willing to change, I am willing to live…. ” (a healthy life, a peaceful life, a wealthy life, a great life, etc.) Then I sit back and listen.
I also repeat uplifting affirmations. We have the tendency to over think our past failures and to think in negative terms. With affirmations, we keep our mind facing the sun, so to speak, even if there might be some darkness in the present moment.
Where there is a Will there is a Way ~ and, I recently read that where there is a Way there is a Will, so MAKE YOUR WAY.
For this New Year I invite you to create change in your life from the roots, from your core beliefs ~ challenge them, be willing to change and the Ocean of Possibilities will open up to you.
Open your arms and look up as you open your heart. Take a deep breath and as you let the breath out, let go of the past and know that with the power of each breath you can decide to change your life.

Nina, I enjoyed your article. It is very informative. It reminds me of something I learned at a meeting in N.Y. The speaker said in order for things to change you have to change. Things don’t change. It is so easy to get stuck on the wrong side of the track, when a thought can change the whole picture.

You make a great point about being willing to scrutinze old rules that no longer may be supporting us and that you need to let go of the some of the darker experiences that happened in the past. Let’s all embrace those thoughts as we enter 2006.

Your thoughts are inspirational, Nina, especially about us having the same kind of issues with just different scenarios! I believe, as you do, that 2006 can truly be a Transformation Year! Thank you for sharing with us all ~ a light filled New Year to you, dear one.
